Apply for This Job Director of Music and Media Ministries St. Barnabas United Methodist Church Arlington, TX Posted: September 18, 2014     Job Information: St. Barnabas United Methodist Church of Arlington, Texas is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Media Ministries who will direct and further develop our ministry with children, youth and adults. Choirs include a chancel choir, a ladies' ensemble, two children's choirs, youth and adult praise teams, and a 5-octave handbell ensemble. Each Sunday the church holds four worship services: an 8:30 chapel service, a 9:30 Traditional Service, a 10:50 Contemporary Service and an 11:00 Blended service. The Director will also supervise media in worship services and special events. The Director of Music Ministries serves alongside a dedicated, gifted, creative and collaborative staff. Applicants should have a growing and vibrant faith in Christ, a love for ministry in and through the Church, the desire to equip people for ministry around them, and a passion for reaching the next generation for Christ. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Music is required. The ability to play piano, organ and /or keyboard is a plus. Compensation is in the upper 40s. This position opens January 1, 2015.
