Assistant for Sr. High Youth and Programs Advertisement
All Saints Anglican Church in Charlotte North Carolina is searching for a full time Assistant to the Rector with oversight for Sr. High youth ministry, College Age ministry, newcomer assimilation and small groups ministry. We are looking for a person who has passion and skill for these ministries, a vibrant relationship with God and mature relationships with God’s people.
This person must have a joyful embrace of three stream ministry:
+Biblical/evangelical- We affirm the ultimate authority of scripture and salvation by grace alone; we are looking for a person with a deep command of Scripture and the ability to communicate biblical truth.
+Sacramental/liturgical- We are a liturgical church. We affirm the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Eucharist as commanded by Christ and necessary for obedient discipleship. We receive the Great Tradition of the undivided Church as a deep source of strength and unity and are looking for a person who honors the Anglican heritage.
+Spirit filled-We affirm the ministry of the Holy Spirit in salvation, sanctification and in the present ministry of the Church, acknowledging the biblical gifts of the Spirit in the ministry of the Church.
We are looking for a theologically orthodox person (male or female, lay or ordained) who has Christ-like character, a firm embrace of the three stream vision, a strong biblical teaching gift, zeal for the lost, ability to relate well with youth and their families and a servant’s heart.
This is a full-time position.
