General Manager – The Bridge
Position Summary: The Bridge General Manager is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Bridge. This individual ensures that overall business plans are established and executed to budget and to the required quality standards. This individual ensures that all five zones (The Fit Zone, Tuscany Lanes, The Venue, Xtreme Kidz, Dome 2:17 and the Commercial Kitchen) of the Bridge are effectively resourced and manages the working relationships of the supporting teams. The Bridge General Manager meets or exceeds the goals set by management.
Duties and Responsibilities
~Develops and executes business plans for the Bridge by planning, communicating and delegating
~Oversees the development and execution of all Bridge programs
~Ensures that all policies and procedures are communicated, understood,
achieved and maintained
~Manages compliance with State and Federal regulations
~Ensures business and staffing practices are consistent with policies and
procedures
~Follows good safety practices to maintain the safety and security of all
employees, customers and organization assets
~Establishes and maintains applicable preventative maintenance programs
to protect the physical assets of The Bridge
~Maximizes labor and resources effectively to meet budgets and generate
profit
~Maintains service quality standards
~Establishes and maintains excellent customer service standards
~Prepares financial reports for management that clearly explain
operational effectiveness, trends, variances and overall financial
success of The Bridge
~Evaluates each employee's performance based on clearly communicated
standards and expectations
~Ensures employee motivation, training and development
~Works closely with Facilities, Marketing, various departments, employees
and clients to ensure the timely and seamless execution of projects.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
~2-5 years management experience required
~Bachelors Degree preferred
~Strong organizational, planning, problem analysis and problem solving
skills
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~High level of professional and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive
and confidential situations
~Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment
~Strong public speaking, leadership, administration, and communication
~Commitment to innovation and excellence
~Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
~Strong work ethic
