Models standards and expectations of staff members in accordance with Trinity Church vision and values. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Education and Experience --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Professional experience as worship leader in a church setting Track record of recruiting and building both paid and unpaid music/vocal teams Experience teaming with pastor and others to accomplish creative weekly worship design --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements and Skills --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strong vocal and guitar skills a must. Strong worship leader that flows from an authentic relationship with Jesus Proficiency in using Planning Center online and Pro Presenter preferred. Ability to read music charts and arrangements for all instruments. Ability to hear and teach vocal parts. Ability to lead and develop teams and cultivate new talent ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Responsibilities ------------------------------------------------------------------ Work with the musical director to recruit, rehearse and lead two teams of musicians and vocals each week for two Sunday morning worship services: Modern, guitar driven worship with full band in the style of Hillsong United, Tomlin, Fee, Paul Baloche, Jesus Culture, etc. Ancient/Modern worship with guitar, piano and vocals/choir incorporating new arrangements of hymns (ancient and modern) with intentional use of liturgy, confessions, and prayers. Lead weekly worship planning meetings Work with Trinity School staff to teach and develop middle praise band and singers.
