Isle of Faith UMC, a suburban church in a casual beach setting, is looking for a full-time Family Minister with a passion for God and for young adults, youth, and children. Candidates should be able to relate to these age groups, to communicate in relevant ways to develop relationships, to teach God's word, to counsel and to inspire.
As a church we are embarking on "Think Orange", a partnership stratgey between the church and families with a mission to put God into the hearts of all men, women, and children.
The Family Minister supervises the Youth and Children's Directors and nursery staff. As a team, manages ongoing programs for infants through young adults including Sunday school, mid-week small groups, missions, outreach,etc. The successful candidate will be hands-on.
In addition the Family Minister oversees and coordinates multiple church-wide and community events.
Candidates should have an exuberance and passion for leading, an ability to administer and supervise, and be team oriented.
