Edenton Street UMC is in search of a part-time (20 hours per week) Manager of Youth Ministry Operations who, in coordination with the Youth Council and Youth Director, will develop and maintain a sustainable system of operations for all Youth Ministry events. These programs will be planned and implemented in a way that will help our students "love the Lord our God, with all their heart, soul, mind and strength."

The successful candidate will:
1. Coordinate and provide logistic help for all Youth Ministry events that happen on or off site with eStreet Youth
2. Coordinate all systems according to the ESUMC Safe Sanctuary policies
3. Be a gifted communicator and organizer
4. Look for new ways to communicate with youth and their families
5. Stay apprised of new strategies for organization and communication

Requirements:
1. Embrace Christian disciplines and United Methodist doctrine and theology
2. Possess excellent overall communication skills
3. Hold a proven ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people, youth, parents, staff and teams of volunteers
4. Demonstrate strong organizational skills
5. Able to effectively guide youth and their families through the challenges associated with growing up
6. Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule to regularly include evenings and weekends; Sundays required
7. Ability to coordinate a variety of resources in gathering information; develop means to more efficiently collect & use pertinent data
8. Independently resolve administrative issues and questions
9. Work with youth ministry schedule of events to coordinate with any and all outside organizations, retreat centers, locations and facilities
10. Books, coordinates, all Youth Ministry events either on or off campus through our Church's scheduling system
11. Ensures budgets are balanced and events are run in a financially sound manner
