Job Description:
Harvest Church is looking for a Technical Pastor & Director (TPD) who is strong in systems and team building. Pastoring and investing in volunteers and technical staff is a priority. The Heights Campus TPD will oversee all campus technical staff, volunteers, and operations (AVL) related but not limited to the weekend experience. This position will also provide support and oversight to other campus events in need of tech support outside of the weekend experience.
As a member of the Central Support Team, the Heights TPD will ensure not only the systems success of their campus but will also partner with other campus tech directors in maintaining and enhancing their campus systems as well.
Key Responsibilities:
The Weekend Experience
Provide leadership and oversight to all system support (audio, video, and lighting) for the weekend experience including the operation and maintenance of all gear
Operate as the Service Production Director (SPD) ensuring all technical elements in the weekend flow are in place and that volunteers are fully engaged and communicated to
Occasionally run "Front of House" (FOH) when support staff and volunteers are not available to serve
Direct and provide oversight to the creation and switch out of stage sets to be utilized for the Heights platform and lockdown shot for other campuses
Provide system maintenance and acquisition for AVL equipment in all venues on campus
Provide and maintain a high level of excellence in all technical aspects of the weekend experience
Team Development
Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to provide significant depth in all positions
Lead, inspire and manage technical support staff while executing their development strategy
Provide spiritual leadership and genuine care for the well being of their staff and volunteers
Central Support
Provide systems support to other campuses and technical staff as needed
Occasionally travel to remote campuses for assistance in system maintenance and training

Job Skills, Attributes, and Qualifications
The Heights Technical Director is a relational position in that it requires consistent interaction with the Lead Pastor, Worship Pastor, support staff, volunteers and church members each weekend. The Heights TPD will be a leader and a developer of leaders, capable of casting vision, shepherding the team, and overseeing the administration, staff, and ministries within their ministry.

An ability to lead at a departmental level, overseeing the care and development of support staff and volunteers
Catalytic leadership-a high-energy self-starter who gets things done and makes things happen
Team player- Someone people will follow but who is also willing to be a great follower
High Capacity Operator - Someone who shows capacity to juggle many tasks simultaneously and enjoys doing so
Good communication skills and a people person (not an introvert)
Willingness continue in technical training
Education
Formal education is not a predetermining factor for the selection of the Heights Technical Director. However, it is likely that they will hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Technical Skills
The Heights Technical Pastor & Director will have the following skills:
FOH - Proficient live audio engineering skill
AVID, Pro Tools competent
Live video production, broadcast, live stream, distribution experience
Knowledge of video post-production (Final Cut or Premiere)
Knowledge of lighting design concepts and lighting operation
Stage design and building experience
Knowledge of ProPresenter projection software
