Worship Team Leader PURPOSE: It is the purpose of the Worship Team Leader to work closely with the Pastor to create modern worship experiences that help the congregation connect to the love of God and empower them for ministry. The Worship Team Leader will be primarily responsible for the musical elements of worship. He/she must demonstrate a deep and authentic relationship with Jesus, a commitment to the community of Life Springs, and a passion for helping people connect to God through worship. He/she must be committed to spiritual depth and musical excellence in worship. RESPONSIBLE TO: Worship Leader will be accountable to the Sr. Pastor RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the congregation toward authentic and passionate worship. Lead the worship team spiritually, which includes musicians and AV personnel Oversee the development and implementation of the highest quality worship possible through team leadership. Meet weekly with the Pastor to plan worship Plan, schedule, and lead corporate worship experiences (Sunday mornings and special services) Prepare for and lead rehearsals for worship team, including the music charts and sound set up. Post and disseminate music in a timely manner Communicate worship order for bulletin to administrator Oversee the recording of worship services and uploading to website and social media. Oversee the recruiting, scheduling, and development of musicians and AV personnel. Curate and teach a repertoire of modern worship music that is musically engaging and theologically deep. Performs other duties assigned by the Pastor. Creatively engage congregation in worship through in person leadership, social media, and other forms of communication. JOB STATUS Part-time To Apply: 1.
