Job Summary: Director of Congregational Care serves to oversee and supervise the care of congregation members and the adult ministry teams and programs at Crossroads in order to achieve our mission to Glorify Jesus through Reaching Others, Growing Spiritually and Helping those in need.

Reports to: Directing Pastor and is part of church leadership

Status: Full-time exempt salaried position.

Essential Tasks:
Oversees and manages the congregational care ministries
o First point of contact for congregational care
o Oversees the staff and volunteers who handle the counseling and hospital visitation ministries
o Develop relationships and knowledge of local counselors that can be utilized for referrals
Executes the strategy as set by the Directing Pastor for adult discipleship ministries, with responsibility for corresponding ministry areas and lay teams; including but not limited to:
o Welcoming, Outreach, Adult Discipleship, Prayer

Ability to minister to congregation members and oversee others who share this ministry.
