Re: Are some denominations more accepting of women as leaders?
Message:Dear Believer in Christ: The call for ministry does not come from a man or woman but from the Spirit of God....The Bible says they that are led of the Spirit are the Sons of God...Not led by the Pastor, Decons, Board etc....It is for this reason that God has given us of His Holy Spirit. The book of Galations is all about trying to look to the flesh for confirmation for the Spirit. Good Godly leadership will cofirm your call & help train & equip you. But not control you. This is a major problem in mostly all denominations. Look for a Godly leader with a servant's heart. That is the one who has the churchs' & your best interest at heart.Remember work out your own salvation with fear & trembling for it is GOD who works IN YOU both to will & to do of HIS GOOD PLEASURE. You are accountable to use your gifts for God's Glory. Where the Spirit is Lord there is liberty. If I can be of further help...contact me...God Bless You are free in Christ to obey Him...
