I have served as Organist for the past 16years, and now I feel a turn off from the pastor and some of the members. I have groomed the pastor's 2 grandson's in becoming musicians, and now since the boys have grown up, and with the change of traditional music, moving to contemorory, I feel washed up and pushed aside. I have decided that as of Dec. of this year I will resign from this Church. When I first started playing there yeah, my body was young and I was able to play for those 3 and somtimes 4 service on Sunday. But, now I'm in my 40's, work full-time, stressfull, and tired when Friday comes around. Yeah, it is a paid position , very low!...But, I have been paid the same amount for the past 12years...125.oo per Sunday. I have prayed, and sought the Lord, but, when I attend choir practice this week, some of the members made very uncomfortable comments, and to just keep peace, I feel it is best for me to step away.

Experiencing Worship, The Study
Used by churches all over the world to help teach worship, the Experiencing Worship study can help your worship team too. Your team will learn why we worship and gain a better understanding of how to worship. One user said..."Your 5 week study course has made a tremendous impact on my life in the study of worship... I would like to express my thanks for a well written study course that leads into a higher realm of praise and worship."
