Re: Woman worship leaders, bibilically correct ?
Message:Jeannie, Of course women worship leaders are Biblical. Women in ministry is very Biblical, and never let anyone tell you otherwise unless they can show it to you in Scripture – the truth in Scripture, not just human translation of Scripture. Since we do not have the original texts, nor do most people read the ancient Hebrew, Arabic, and Greek with the same understanding to which it was originally written – use the six rules of Scripture interpretation in studying the Bible on this subject for yourself: 1) Determine the author’s intent 2) Determine the context within the chapter, the book, and the rest of the Bible 3) Determine the historical and cultural setting at the time it was written 4) Interpret unclear passages in light of passages that are clear, use Scripture to interpret Scripture. 5) Determine the meaning of the original language used - Hebrew, Arabic, or Greek. Don't take translation as infallible, only God's Word as originally written/spoken is perfect. 6) Listen to the Holy Spirit speak to your spirit and let Him guide you into all Truth.Praise God for you and for the giftings and heart for ministry and worship that He placed inside you for His glory. Be strong and keep obeying!!
