Re: Pregnant Worship Leader
Message:I have two main suggestions for you: #1--PRAY #2--Talk to your pastor and share what you have shared with this board. He may know of some options that you are not aware of to relieve some of your stress. As the worship leader, your relationship with your pastor is SOOOO important. YOU should be in submission to him as your leader and HE should know what is going on with you and your worship team. As you said worship is a lifestyle, not just what you do on Sundays at church. Some of what you describe should not be acceptable in the life of someone who is leading in worship. (And the worship team is leading, presenting an example of a worshipper to the congregation just as much as the worship leader.) From what you say about your team, consider leading solo for a while. Of course it's easier with a team of singers with you, but leading solo may be less stressful for you right now, and your worship team may need some time off to work on their relationships with God. Of course, make sure your pastor is in agreement with you, whatever you do. I'll be praying for you.
