I am a pregnant worship leader. Currently I am 7 wks. I miscarried two months ago do to high stress on my body. I currently have 5 members of the praise and worship team. They each have problems with the flesh that makes them ineligible to minster through song. Just to give some examples of what I am working with. Smoking, fornication, rebellion etc. I have know about these weaknesses and have counciled each individual using the word of the Lord as my guide. They stopped and now have started again and it is obvious because they are struggling. I have made it clear to them that they can not minister in this condition. They must live a life that is holy and pleasing to the Lord. We are to demonstrate the power of the holy spirit when we minister. I also have shared with them that it is not just for Sunday morning. Praise and worship is a lifestyle as well. Well to make a long story short. The ministry of praise and worship at my church is torn down. We have not had practice for two weeks because they have each called with an excuse. Getting to the part about me being pregnant. Now I don't want to stress over this because I know that God will send true worshipers to this ministry. However I am an account mgr for a major airline and the demand for me to travel is becoming greater. I can not give Praise and Worship planning the attention it needs because I need to rest due to the chgs of pregnancy. When I travel I do day trips so it requires me to get up extra early to catch 6a and 7a flights to meet clients. I will travel at least once or twice a week. I have not mentioned this to my pastor because I would like to present another alternative. Currently or congregation is small with approx 55 members. There is no one that has been or wanted to be raised up to lead this important ministry. What shall I do?
