If you know that, you are correct in your direcion to lead worship. For the longest time, the Lord had me learning on how to worship. The Lord had me in different places, (churches), situations, like ministering on the street with my keyboard to people who bascially lived on the streets. Was in choir, and had a wonderful Pastor who was a great teacher, gifted in music. Then it came, the day the Lord spoke to me, I withdrew my answer to the Lord, did not answer Him, because I thought I was not good enough. Well, it took 3 years of the Lord prompting me on my heart, to get through to me, He had created me as His individual, to sing the praises of His songs He had put on my heart. I knew that I knew, that I knew, I needed to go forth and lead worship. You see, the Lord put me right in a brand new Messianic church, that had NO musician. I talked to my pastor, and he said, he was waiting for me all this time to STEP forward. He knew, and God knew, but I had to be READY! Now Iam doing what the Lord has prepared me to do, lead worship. It took me 15 years to get to this point. But Iam ready now, and am serving Him full time. I have peace in my heart about worshiping and know this is the place God wanted to put me. Pray about your place in ministry, and if you have the peace of the Lord, your gift will make room for you. This I know.
