Message:Hello there, just want to say I am so happy to find this site and message board! I would like to hear how, as a woman who leads praise and worship, of how you first stepped into that call in the church you're currently in? I am ready to speak with my pastor about asking him if I may lead on some Sunday morning; I know it's time to speak with him about this and I want to handle this with sensitivity, love, and in an attitude of servitude. God has called me here, there have been many steps along the way, and recently He has by His Holy Spirit nudged me to make this BIG step. My pastor is wonderful, and I have sang backup for awhile now, and do minister in special music. In my former church, I worked alongside of my pastor as praise and worship leader, and I also do lead in Aglow (anyone familair with AGLOW?!). My husband and I have been in our new church for a year now, and he is encouraging me also to take this step. I'd really appreciate input, advice, and above all else - PRAYER!!! THANKS! In His Love, Annie
