Boundaries
Message:I am really beginning to learn that there are specific boundaries and limitations that are placed in our lives by the Lord for reasons. Recently, during one of our Sunday School classes, our teacher was expounding on Acts 17: 24-30. Verse 26 & 27 say "From one man he made every nation of men that they should inhabit the whole earth and he determined the times set for them and exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us." I have learnt that there are set times for us or specific seasons, or boundaries that the Lord places in our lives. I am a young mother of three small children and lead worship often in our church, have two part time jobs and am busy. I have been struggling with how I can manage all that I have in my life right now. It seemed that everything was becoming very overwhelming - including worship and nothing was seeming to go smoothly. Only when I began to seek Him did my load seem lighter and things in my life became more balanced. Jesus did that. I have also realized that my priority (or boundary) right now is my husband and children and as I focus on that everything else will begin to fall into place. My circumstances are changing, wherein the whole worship co-ordinating structure at our church is being re-assessed which will allow for more people who are gifted (in this season) to become more involved. When we realize our limitations - and that they may be God given for a reason - that we might seek him we can truly rest and be fulfilled and free to operate within the boundary he has given us today!

The Paul Langford Project
