Message:Can someone give me some scriptural references for what should be worn during ministry? Or/also why skirts/dresses for women? I know there's something about not wearing things pertaining to men, but if you think about the times when this was written, men and women both wore robe-like items, correct? So if that's the case, "manly" dressing would have still included something more like a dress than pants. We do require robes for the choir, dresses for the praise team women, and sometimes allow pants for special events. Just need some help in understanding this practice. I do agree that I feel much more comfortable ministering in dresses/skirts. I once had to lead a Men's choir and I felt sort of "exposed" in pants all of a sudden.
