Message:Dear Saints: As a Woman Worship Leader for almost 30 years. I have learned alot about the differences in music ministers & worship leaders. As in any job in the church,Any of these positions can just be a job or they can be a ministry.I think it has alot to do with the heart of a person involved in the position. Also in each individual church it will be a different plan to meet the need in that particular church. The problem comes when we try to do everything exactly the same in every church situation. Peoples needs are all different...We see that as Jesus ministered & still does by His spirit differently to each need.A music minister is more involved in organizing the people, music, alot more structured than the worship leader who is more interested in bringing God's people into His presence.A music minister is usually a song leader, leading people in unison a worship leader is just that: leads people in true worship before God.Each needs to stay in their calling.
