Re: How should I approach music minister for solo job?
Message:First you should just get busy in the ministries this worship leader will be directing. Everyone wants to tell the minister about their talent it seems, rather than just getting involved and supporting the ministries in place. If you are as good as you say, you will be "heard." It's a natural process. God will elevate you to that "solo" position in His time. If you should just "mention" to him that you are a soloist, leave it there. They will keep that in mind and will often lend an "extra" ear to check you out while you're least expecting it. As a minister of music for over 25 years, trust me, this works.
