Dear Rev. Richardson,Thank you for your kind reply. We agree with you and are asking God to guide us to a church with a traditional worship service. You didn't mention what State you're from, but in Southern California so many churches are going contemporary with very loud music. Contemporary worship services are in the majority so there's not much for us to choose from. We find this troubling since in the city where we live the senior population is projected (by San Diego County government) to increase by 139% over the next fifteen years. That will make our city include about 100,000 SENIORS. Where are 100,000 of us going to worship God, since many, many people our age feel as we do about the mucic issue? What can the older population do to call this to the attention of pastors and the church leadership?
I would like to have a really good discussion on this subject. I believe that there are many of you out there that feel the same as we do. Please take a minute to respond with your thoughts.
