Re: Loosing Signal on Wireless Mics
Message:If the battery drops below a certain point, you will get intermittent static until the battery is so far gone that the mic can't generate enough signal for the receiver to detect. This happens a lot faster with rechargable batteries because they drain a lot faster. Make sure you're using what the manufacturer recommends. My experience has been that once a 9 volt drops below 7.4 you should replace it. This isn't any type of set in stone number, simply what I have observed in my experience.As for "other" static, sounds like you might have some outside radio interferance. Could be cell phone related, walkie talkie, etc. Is your system UHF or VHF, non-diversity or true-diversity. A UHF, true-diversity system is going to be best at blocking outside signals. Craig
