I have read the other postings and wanted to see if anyone had any dealings or experience with these mic's. They are lowcost, but I hope usable. I want to know if I am basically getting "what ya pay for". Buy a low-end mic and get a low end sound. The first one is a 4 channel VHF system by NADY Systems. The second is a single channel UHF system by AKG with D880 mic. Is it necessary to go UHF over VHF? Also, any suggestions on training material (CD/VHS/books) on soundroom fundamentals for a novice soundroom tech. I have volunteered to control our church's soundroom. I have an electronics/computer background, but looking to expand my knowledge of sound equipment and soundroom basics.
