Message:John,Thanks for the info. We do record our practices which always seems to help. Interesting you mentioned about not over playing...I agree. I have found that I get a great sound out of accenting certain cords or notes while utilizing certain effects. Which brings me to my effects. I am one of those quitarist who like the single stomp boxes rather than the effects processors, but I am finding that setting up the sound I am looking for takes a little longer. Once I find it, it sounds good, but determining which combination of individual effects to use in order to get the desired sound can be challenging, but fun! I am going to take your advice on the SoundForge strategy. I have not tried that, but I am going to give it a shot...I'll let you know. Thanks Phil
