Message:Am interested in knowing experiences in buying used digital pianos or keyboards. Have a friend who cannot have a standard piano due to space and wants to buy a 88-key digital or keyboard. He's 16 and funds are limited. I play piano and organ, but have no knowledge of keyboards. Is it feasible to consider a used one? I know how to check for tone and features, but is there any way of checking condition? Are some brands more reliable than others? We live in Indianapolis, In. area and I'd appreciate your views on used instruments as well as any suggestions on where to buy new or used. THANKS!
