We use Song Show Plus 5.5 and will be happy to help you in any way that we can. Now for some editorial commment...We have a love/hate relationship with Song Show Plus. We love it because it's far better than trying to do the same function in PowerPoint. We hate it because it's slow, inflexible, and crashes constantly.
I'm in the computer industry and compared to non-church software Song Show Plus is some of the more poorly engineered stuff that I have ever seen. IMO, they are trying to do far too much, in far too much modularized code, and this compromises the integrity of the underlying core product.
Frankly, if this weren't church software either the company would be bankrupt, or acquired, OR there would several competitors out there writing better software to compete with it (and thus pressure the coders to write better code).
It's really sad that a product this BAD doesn't go unchallenged in the church. It's even sadder that it gets such glowing reviews in the church press.
Franky Schaeffer was right, the church really IS addicted to mediocrity.
