Hi Judy. I'm no authority on the web. Perhaps some of the other Brothers or Sisters at this site can direct you to a good source.I have a few thoughts for your consideration. First, I suggest you join CCLI so as to honor copyrights for the songs you use. CCLI is found at www.ccli.com. Membership fee is based on the size of your church. It is not very expensive.
I suggest you pre-program CD's with the music you want to use for your services so as to avoid changing over CD's in the middle of worship. You can easily do this with a CD burner and a computer. You do not need new songs for every service. In fact, most congregations are most comfortable with songs they know. A repertoire of about 20 songs should be enough to get you going.
You will need a sound tech to run the equipment. I recommend that you look for volunteers from your congregation. I also suggest you contact a larger Baptist Church in your area, and see if you can get one of their sound people to come over to your church, check out your equipment, advise you if you do not have what you need, and then help train some people in your congregation. You may want to ask your current musician to help get you set up for CD worship before he or she departs, if they have the technical knowledge.
Using pre-programmed CD's is pretty easy, and will allow you to move your service forward with some planning to select songs that support the topic of the sermon.
I also suggest you pray for God to lead musical servants to your church. A competent keyboard or guitarist should be able to lead your congregation in worship.
Good luck to you. May God Bless you.
