I don't have a Hot Tub...too many bubbles, they cloud the true goal. By all means, you keep your hot tub but let me ask you these things first: Did Christ use a hot tub mentality to attract followers? Did he teach his disciples to use this philosophy? How about John the Baptist with his camel skin and breath of locust? Or Paul and his disciples?
It would be great to have all of the things this philosophy can bring; but inevitably, were are using every thing but the Truth to attract people. And the only reason they stay is for the Hot Tub, not Christ.
I can guarantee you that if you feed a man's hungry family, he doesn't care what he sits on whether it be a golden pew or a pallet. He will listen to whatever it is you say. But if you are feeding the flames of a money, power, and status hungry fool...he will stop listening when the money, status and power stop flowing.
