Message:I'm thinking about doing a recording project with our Praise Team for our church. These CD's would be freebies given to members and guests and would include mostly copyrighted songs. I'm very familiar with copyright laws when it comes to printed and projected music and lyrics and the guidelines about making live recordings of the worship services. However, I am very unfamiliar with copyrght laws when it comes to making recordings in the studio. I'm getting some info from some worship leaders that I think is incorrect, and maybe even lead to illegal recordings. Can someone guide me to a good resource? (I've seached EXW, but I haven't found any info).
