Re: Ideas for worship sets for Christmas theme
Message:we did an upbeat "joyful joyful we adore you" to start our worship set this last sunday, and added in a bridge of "gloria in excelsius deo" to which our drummer added a more contemporary "sing gloria, sing gloria, joy to the world"...i think adding in bridges that encourage worship is really helpful in blending the traditional with the new....there is also a great new contemporary christmas song, "You are Emmanuel" which works well when you blend it with other contemporary worship songs, as well as the carols about Emmanuel, God with us....
