I'm going to have to raise a rebuttal Ken. I think he is right to raise this issue. Ezekiel 3 admonishes us to be our brothers keeper. The Bible makes it very clear that we should make the effort to rebuke our Brother, done in love, concern, and compassion. God says He will hold us accountable if we fail to do that. You ask who is he to bring this to the worship leader? He is a Christian Brother, and that is enough. When the Holy Spirit moved Phillip to speak to the Eunich, Phillip still had to make the effort to go speak to the Eunich. God uses US to accomplish His purpose. We should indeed wait on the Lord, but only until He is ready to move, and then it is us that has to move. He accomplishes His purpose through our action and obedience, not endless waiting.

So as to avoid the old testament - new testament thing, Paul also tells us to submit to one another in Christ. He tells us to admonish and rebuke one another, again with the warning of proper motive and not done in sin. David had his mighty men, not to be in authority over him, but to give him counsel.

I didn't see anything in Jack's comments that indicate a selfish motive or wrong thinking. It looks to me like he is looking to provide constructive criticism for his worship leader. You raised some great points with regard to the worship leader having a differnt way of communicating. All the more reason why they should discuss it. Such a discussion might be the perfect vehicle for them to share a deeper understanding of one another.

I don't see his age as an issue, nor do I see any spiritual immaturity in his post. As for me, I'm old enough not to have to answer how old I am, or how spiritual I am, or whether I have been baptized by the holy ghost. I think he indeed should open a dialog with the worship leader. I don't see red flags on his post, but I sure question what you are saying here. Praying about it, and turning it over to the Lord are dead on, but faith without action is dead faith. There comes a time when we must act. Jesus didn't just call His disciples to pray, he also called them to go out and preach the gospel.
