Thank you for your article. I am new to this site and was scanning the articles when I came across yours. I am the same way before services on Sunday as well as first thing in the morning and the last moments at night before sleep. Those are the times when I feel most connected to God and feel his strength and presence flow through me, enabling me to do his work and help his children.

Minister Thorne,I too have experienced people thinking I am anti-social. On Sunday mornings before Praise & Worship, I am usually in a frame of mind where I am trying to avoid distractions and getting myself ready to stand before God's people. However, between Sunday School and Morning Worship service, there is a lot going on and people are pulling me in all kinds of directions. They don't understand (at least some don't) how important it is to get into God's presence and stay there. So, I'd just like to say Thank you for that word. It has truly encouraged my heart. The Paul Langford Project
This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
