God's Word says?
I "went to the Lord" when my hubby didn't agree with something I wanted to do. I said "Lord...I need YOU to tell me what I should do". (Oh I sounded soooo spiritual). The Lord spoke SOOOOOOOO clearly saying "You SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBAND...and I'll take care of you". Ladies...we are NOT merely to obtain our hubby's 'opinions'...we are to seek their direction for our lives. They are the HEAD of their wives, as Christ is the HEAD of the Church. Yes, we have our own relationship with the Lord. But in order to truly obey Him...we MUST obey our own husbands....if not....we are in disobedience to Christ. We need to stop our spiritual facade...and ask ourselves if we are truly loving our own husbands, and obeying Gods Word concerning them. Strong words...but I didn't write them. They are in your Bible too!

I cried as I read your article?
I sat in my office and cried as I read your article. I have served on our worship team for 8 years. About 6 years ago, God put a calling on my life to be a worship leader. This has not yet come to fruition. About 3 years ago, our worship leader moved out of state. Since then, the worship team has been in limbo. I have been seeking God and asking if it is time yet. When the harmony in our home gets out of balance, things do not go right between my husband and I. I believe that God is doing a work in both my husband and myself. When it is His timing, my husband will be at peace about my ministry and everything will come together.

Woman in Worship
I can relate to what you are saying about God s` timing as I am a ctive church member and I sing back up in our praise team at church . This has been a calling on my life for a long time. When I had decided to commit to the ministry , I discuss this with my husband who is not a church goer but a believer , he did not seem to mind , but as the commitment became more he would get upset and I would open my mounth and get upset with him as well. God put it on my heart to be still and know that I am God and let him do the work with reagard to my hubby. I have left this in God hands and I beleive that he do his work in HIS time. God Bless Antoinette

waiting on God patiently and expectantly
I have to wait on God, because he knows everything that I need. I have to wait on God to save my marriage and bring my husband home. IAM NOT WORRY HE'LL SHOW UP ON TIME.
