Bullseye
This article was well written. Many times worship leaders forget what their purpose is on Sunday morning. The have put limitations on their priase/worship part of the service. It is all neatly put in a box. How long we will worship and praise, how many songs. They often time look like robots just moving from left to right with no passion and biblical foundation. Making it hard for the congregation to worship and receive a breakthrough. It is time the church teaches the power of worship. So the congregation can bring this foundation home in their personal prayer closet. We as worship leaders should turn ever believer into worshipers. As you pointed out their are areas of worship we should mediate on to strengthen our intimacy with the one whom we worship.

This article was heaven sent
I really appreciated this article. I have been a praise and worship leader for about 1 1/2 years now. However, I have just recently experienced the moving of God in my worship leading. It was so extraordinary, I was left almost speechless. After the first experience, I decided I had to have more of this. So I started searching the scriptures and found an overabundance of texts that described worship and praise and the reasoning behind it. God has done something miraculous in my life and I want to learn more about the scriptural basis for praise and worship. This article has revealed some things to me that I had questions about. God is moving in a mighty way.
