how?
Yes, I agree. But, my question is HOW? HOw do you tell someone in the church that they have no talent in leading worship when they believe that they do. How do you tell them that you want to replace them? How do you not hurt their feelings?

Check Out the Other Chapters
It's a difficult thing to determine who should and who shouldn't be on the worship team. What you have to look at is the person involved a asset or liability. If they have gifts in singing or playing, if they are team players and have a heart for worship, use them. Every situation is different. If they merely like to sing, let them sing specials that are more performance geared. You have to set the standard for your team and live up to it. Be gracious. Help lead them to other ministries that better suit their talents and giftings. Set your expectations and hold to them. Share your philosophy of worship and if they fit in it, use them, if not...let them go gently.

i agree, but?
hi. i totally agree with all that the article said (worship leaders or performers). but what if u have someone on your worship team who luvs to sing and wants to be in the worship band, but is not nessesarly called into that ministry? they have other giftings, but maybe haven't discovered them yet. and the only "gift" they think they have right now is singing? this person isn't amazing or very very talented or anything, it is more like a hobby to them, not saying that they can't sing or anything, they can! and they also luv singing in the worship band at church, but like i said before, it is not nessesarly their calling in life. so do we continue to have them(singular)in the band? what is your opinion?thanx for your time god bless Eeleah
