Fits & Starts Productions, LLC, the leading producer of audio workshops in the USA, continues its series of HOW-To Church Sound Workshops™ this December 2004 through January 2005. The workshops are dedicated to training church sound volunteers in live sound techniques and technology, offering hands-on training to church sound volunteers.

Featuring audio engineer-author Mike Sokol, and produced by industry stalwart Hector La Torre, the workshops offer two days of audio instruction — a “Basic” 3-hour workshop on Friday evening from 6 PM-9 PM and an “Intermediate” workshop Saturday from 9 AM-6 PM. Fee for the 3-hour workshop Friday evening is $59.00 prior to day of workshop; $79.00 on day of workshop. Fee for 8-hour workshop Saturday is $119 prior to day of workshop; $139 on day of workshop. Fee for both workshops (both Friday and Saturday) is $159 prior to day of workshop; $179 on day of workshop.

The nationally-recognized series will continue to travel across the USA in 2004-2005. The latest tour travels to four states (see below), and interested sound volunteers, music ministers and others may register at their local sites. More information can be found at www.howtosound.com.

The Paul Langford Project
This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
