Just forget the music
You are absolutly right. At my church when it is time for praise and worship the praise leaders have a hard time because the congregation is always looking for music. They don't know how to just praise and worship God without someone having to play music and pump and pry them to get into the worship service. Sometimes I wish the power would go out and just stay out just to see if anyone would worship God without music. There are times when I lead worship and I might say to the musicians no music and the folk in the congregation will look at me as if I have just said give me all your money. We as christians need to stop waiting for music and just worship God .I found out that praise and worship should be a part of yourlife style and so when I don't see people praising and worshiping God then they are just telling on themselves , they are letting me know that praise and worship is not a part of their life stlye.
