Brian Doerksen

He's dedicated his life to worship ministry, immersed himself in international travel and committed much of his time to writing some of today's best-loved worship songs. For Brian Doerksen, praise and worship has been engrained in this British Columbia native all his life and has led to a string of life-changing releases. Yet his latest worship album is more than just a congregational service put to a recording—it's an experience sure to provide solace to the searching, revive the weary and increase the passion level of even the most faithful.

"This project is about our calling when we are half way there... when the wall of our ministry and life is half built," he says of his new album inspired by Nehemiah 4. "Almost every song speaks in some way to this crossroads, the place where we could turn back from exhaustion or discouragement from the taunts of our enemies or continue in the grace of God. It's at this junction that God calls us to be worshipping warriors, not fighting battles as the world does, but in purity as sons and daughters of the Most High."

Recorded live in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Today captures a myriad of worship expressions with Brian's passionate vocals, an awesome 75-voice choir, 12-piece orchestra and more. "I was amazingly privileged to record this project in my hometown" says Brian.

Songs Include:
Today (As For Me And My House)
Everlasting
You Are Everything (Everything I Need)
The River
My Redeemer (Into My Father's House)
A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
Fortress 144
Refiner's Fire
Lead Us Lord (Dream Again)
Creation Calls
Faithful Father/Your Faithfulness
Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Hear From Heaven
I See The Cross (Choral Introduction)
I See The Cross
Today (As For Me And My House) Reprise

This is another great project from one of our favorite worship leaders and writers. A must for your worship music library. Very meditative and reflective worship. This is worth getting if only for your private times of worship in the car or at home
