“Life is odd. The reality of living in a fallen place is that we want be real, but we struggle and want to place blame,” explains Hall. “Then we realize how small, frail, and pitiful we are. We can choose to be depressed about it, or we can accept God’s glory and the power we have in our weakness through Him. On The Road To Beautiful is about that process, that journey to the realization of who we are in God, that we are truly loved by God and able to fully delight in His presence.”

Produced by Nathan Nockels (Passion, Watermark, Phillips, Craig and Dean) with Brad O’Donnell (Nichole Nordeman, Twila Paris, Aaron Spiro) as executive producer, On The Road To Beautiful is Hall’s first recording of all new songs on the sixsteps/Sparrow imprint. Writing most of the songs himself, Hall also co-wrote songs with fellow worship leaders Stuart Townend (“In Christ Alone”) and Matt Redman (“The Heart Of Worship,” “Better Is One Day”).

He is not afraid of questioning, doubt, or surrender in his lyrics,” explains Denise George, senior director of artist development at Sparrow Records. “Dually, Hall fills the need for both corporate and personal worship that taps into the honest lament of the earthly journey while acknowledging an infinite God that is intimate with each of us.”

Heralded as one of the “voices” of the Passion movement, Hall has led worship on all five Passion recordings, which have sold nearly a million units collectively. He has also performed in front of tens of thousands of college students at Passion’s OneDay gatherings, in addition to Passion Experience and Worship Together tours and conferences around the nation.

ounded in 2000 by Louie Giglio, sixstepsrecords is a young worship label and is a division of Choice Resources, the parent ministry for Passion Conferences. Artists on the roster include Chris Tomlin (Not To Us) and The David Crowder Band (Can You Hear Us?). The label partners with Sparrow Records for marketing, sales and distribution operations.
