CCLI Releases List Of Top Songs Reported By U.S. Churches
[August 25, 2004 / Portland, OR] ... Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) has released its list of Top Songs from the most recent Church Reporting Period, October 2003 through March 2004.
"The CCLI Top 25 List is a true benchmark for church music, since it represents a clear measure of which songs the churches are using most in their congregational singing," said Howard Rachinski, Founder and President/CEO of CCLI.

For an annual license fee, churches receive permission to copy from more than 150,000 songs for congregational use, from the song catalogs of over 2,500 song owners and publishers. Copying activities permitted under the Church Copyright License include printing song lyrics in bulletins and songsheets, displaying song lyrics via computer projections and transparencies, and recording worship services.
