Mercy
Those who know worship leader/songwriter Eoghan Heaslip (pronounced Owen Heeslip) are well aware of his heart for worship - describing him as the Irish Matt Redman because of his ability to create moving songs that inspire intimacy with God. With formative years spent in Ireland, a country rich in Christian heritage, this emerging artist is part of the next generation of worship leaders - raised up by God to take worship to the world. "My heart" says Eoghan, "is to write songs that will bless, serve, encourage, and resource the local church with worship that is honest, real, passionate and above all, accessible - worship born out of the response to a call of God." With a musical style that reflects modern Ireland, Eoghan has appeared at major Christian Music events throughout Europe and recently recorded a dynamic new album at his home church - an incredible night of worship live in the heart of Dublin.
Recorded live at CORE Church (City Outreach through Renewal and Evangelism) in Dublin, Mercy is the latest release from Hosanna! Music and features a moving collection of 13 modern and intimate worship songs representing what God is doing in worship throughout Ireland. Produced by the renowned Paul Mills (Revival In Belfast), this new album features Eoghan's passionate vocals and a UK sound reminiscent of Matt Redman and Martin Smith. With songs like "Here I Am To Worship," and "The Father's Love"- a duet with Brian Doerksen, Mercy is perfect for worshiping churches, youth services, and cross-generational worship. The enhanced CD includes printable chord charts and lyric text files for 4 songs. Plus, the stories behind each song are included in the packaging. The accompaniment Songbook includes transparency masters and arrangements for vocals, piano & guitar.
