Humility, Faith and Obedience will take you to another level in God's presence.
I'm a Worshiper and a song writer, but I have discovered that WORSHIPING IN TRUTH and IN SPIRIT is done to its best when those three(3) ingredients are part of our lives. This is because when you are Humble, you will be exalted by God and the holy spirit will perfectly work in you because He is also a gentle Spirit. When you have faith, you will move God because Faith moves God and things beyond your imagination will take place in God's presence. When you obey, God will be so pleased with you because He takes pleasure in Obedience than any other sacrifices. With Obedience we also allow the Holy Spirit to MOVE freely amongst us. Now, after the 3 ingredients have become a part of your life the sky will be the limit for the presence of God in your life always. Thank you and God Bless you.

Worship is total obedience and suubmission
I truly agree with all you have stated in this article. Humility, faith and obedience are THE ingredients necessary to truly worshipping GOD. It hurts to see people so distracted by ther surrundings and their situations that they cannot give themselves in worsip. If only they could see that it's only through HIM that we can truly be free and happy in the midst of all things!!! Blessings!

I Call it Biblical Worship
I've been a worship leader and bible teacher for some time now. And I've come to the conclusion that if I were to spend the rest of my years leading people and exhorting people into true "biblical worship", that would be fulfillling and very significant. I could have a profound effect on the church and as a result the unsaved world. If we can be a church where visitors come in and unmistakably sense the presence of God, we have then become what He intended from the beginning. Suggestion: locate a copy of A.W. Tozer's "Whatever Happened To Worship". Back in the 1950s Tozer was grieved by the quenching of the Holy Spirit also.

Spirit's Worship
Thank you for a truely inspiring article. I could not agree more with what you have written. I find that often with my own worship, it has a lot to do with the preparations, the planning, the manpower, the presentations, musicians etc... But often, when the Spirit moves, something totally awesome and wonderous and unexpected happens, even if it means putting aside everything that has been planned. And almost everytime the whole team submits to the leading of the Spirit, immediately, the hall of worshippers is electrified, energized, enthused and enters a whole new, higher, deeper realm of wonderful worship. I truely believe that worship belongs to the Father and the Spirit moves us to do exactly that in ways that are most pleasing to our loving God!
