You hit the nail on the head!
God is good. I just "happened" upon this article today and the timing is so amazing. Our church is going through this very struggle right now and within the next few weeks will be voting on going from one service to two services. They will be 'blended" but unfortunately, in music only. Sadly, we are a divided people because there are some who are feeling "entitled" to what they want. We are living in the entitlement generation and GOD is the only one entitled! HE created us to worship HIM, not our own selfish desires and wants! You all know that though. Sorry for preaching to the choir! This article just is so timely for our church right now and I'm so thankful God led me to it!

Blended vs. United worship?
Even the words themselves set a definitive line... blended: mixed up, put together, hodge podge... united: unified, together, as one...

It's an ongoing struggle and until the focus is upon God, the struggle will continue.

THANK YOU!
I agree! Thank you so much for putting it so well. We need to focus on God - that is why we worship, not for our comfort or entertainment. Awesome article.

Wow!
What a thought-provoking article! I am challenged to look at my own worship (and that of our church) with a fresh eye--UNITY versus conflict, ego versus God's will. Thank you for this reminder!
