Called, Annointed & Appointed.
Hello all;
I totally agree with John's comments about being "called, annointed & appointed" for music ministry. I have had the privledge of leading worship since 1977. I have seen many worship leaders move in their own abilities. More often that not, they get discouraged and stop when their expectations are not met. Also I have seen too many churches put people into worship leading postions, just for the sake of having good musicians. It took time for me to understand that God called me to be a worship pastor and what that looks like. My anointing was confirmed by others, especially in church leadership. I never take for granted that I am allowed by God, to be a worship pastor full-time. God has used me to develop, train and release others for music ministry. I am very humbled and grateful to God, that He would use someone like me. More articles need to be written and discussed like this one. All of us need to be good stewards of the gifts and talents God gives us.

Thank you for holy clarity!
I have been wrestling with an issue inside of me about the absence of consistent "reflected" anointing in my husband's daily walk. He loves the Lord and I am not trying to judge him. But since God gave me to him then I'm positive that He wants me to care for him whole, soul, and body. "Being anointed involves God's ordaining power to fulfill your calling-your divine purpose"...regardless of your setting. I added those last four words because this is where the inconsistency of allowing God to use him no matter when, where, and with whom, comes in. Your article has provided much clarity even though the pain remains. Therefore, with what has been provided here, the Lord will remove the pain and instruct me on how to point out unactivated Holy power, to be able to be the help meet needed (my calling), and for me to lovingly help him see how he will me more effective in his ministry when he consistently allows God to use him ALL OF THE TIME. "In and out of season". Amen

Thanks
Recently I have been struggling with the church we've been called to. It's a traditional, classical music oriented Baptist church. I stumbled on your aricle at a very Divine Time. It was a refreshing breeze to soothe my weary soul. Unable to use my gifting at this church, God really spoke telling me to think outside the box. After some serious prayer, I now have a clear vision of what I've been appointed to do with my call and annointing. THANK YOU! :) for letting God use you.

Let God Lead You
While reading the article "Called. Anointed. Appointed", it caused me to reflect on my position in God and in my local church for this season. I too am a worship leader and it is truly a God Appointment. I would never lead worship on my own, God called me out for a purpose and a plan. I am a worshipper and enjoy lingering in the presence of the Lord, however this is a new thing. (Is. 43) And it is wonderful to behold. As ministers unto God we have walk by faith, stay in our prayer closets, and ask God the questions that will position us in place that will glorify Him the most. For those of you who feel a calling to the worship ministry pray the questions our Brother in Christ listed about and God will do the rest. All you have to do is obey and step out on the water! The Lord will be there. Let God lead you and you'll do fine.
Living for His Glory,
Nina
