Integrity Music Launches Seminars4Worship

Partners with Jack Hayford for Pastors Education Emphasis.

Mobile, Alabama (February 22, 2002) - Integrity Music, recording label and song publisher of worship music, today announced that it has launched Seminars4Worship, a new brand to support its worship education efforts to pastors, worship leaders and others who plan and participate in leading worship at the local church level.

“Since the introduction of the Integrity Music worship seminars in 1999, we have been working to refine and craft an educational experience where church leaders receive essential tools for leading their congregations in worship,” said Bob Rist, senior vice president of Integrity Music’s Church Resource Division. “The Seminars4Worship brand gives us the ability to now grow beyond what we have done in the past and include other ministries and talents in these ground breaking seminars.”

Dr. Jack W. Hayford, founder of Church on the Way, in Van Nuys, Calif., founder of Living Way, a leading radio and television ministry, as well as the driving force behind The King’s College and Seminary, has joined forces with Integrity in the Seminars4Worship effort. “As never before, there is a releasing of the work of God in worship, bringing spiritual reformation and renewal, with a divine grace attending the Church at large where worship comes alive--in understanding as well as practice,” said Dr. Hayford. “Seminars4Worship is designed to strengthen pastors personally and theologically, while giving them practical tools to lead their congregations in worshiping God.”

Of the eight Seminars4Worship planned for 2002, four entitled, “Equipping Leaders For Worship,” feature Dr. Hayford’s teaching. Participants in these seminars will be led in worship by Don Moen, executive vice president / creative director of Integrity Music, as well as other worship leaders featured in Integrity’s leading Hosanna! Music series of live worship recordings.

Additionally, four of the 2002 Seminars4Worship events are entitled, “Essential Tools for Worshiping Churches.” Teaching teams for these seminars include the Rev. Pete Sanchez, Jr., of Christ Covenant Church based in Houston, Texas, Integrity founder and ordained minister Michael Coleman and the Rev. Robert Brenner, also an Integrity vice president. Worship leaders include: Paul Baloche, Tommy Walker, Lenny LeBlanc, Israel Houghton, Ten Shekel Shirt, John Chisum, Bob Fitts, Paul Wilbur and Alicia Williamson. Two evening worship concerts, which are open to the public, are part of each seminar.

New for 2002 is an additional emphasis on teaching and breakout sessions for senior pastors and for those responsible for leading children in worship. Seminars4Worship also contain a full complement of offerings for worship leaders, sound technicians and praise team and worship band members. In addition to education, each 2 ˝-day seminar contains five different and distinct worship experiences. The eight 2002 Seminars4Worship are being held in: Walnut Creek, Calif.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Chicago, Ill.; Houston, Texas; Atlanta, Ga.; Des Moines, Iowa; and Olympia, Wash.

In an effort to create further awareness of these events, Integrity Music has retained San Francisco-based, Call to Worship Ministries to direct a full-scale media and advertising campaign to publicize the seminars to over 80,000 North American church leaders. The campaign includes direct mail, print advertising, Christian radio, direct to church telephone marketing, as well as the launch of a new web property, www.seminars4worship.com.
