A church member will be positive and is more likely to have a wonderful experience in worship if they feel they have a sense of belonging in the church.A worship leader can help worshippers have this sense of belonging by creating relationship with them.
When people feel they are loved and accepted, they can easily be open to God.
Have you ever attended a church where you felt you are just not part of the family? That feeling certainly affected the way you worship.
To help, worship leaders can do the following.
take time before the service begins and say hi to people, and listen to them. it wil not take away your annointing. it is not time to prepare your cascade of songs. you should have done this already.
Generally, focus on church being a family rather than a performance.
