Back on track..
This article helped me get back on track. It is so easy to veer off of our destination of leading the people into the presence of the Lord and go towards worrying about what worship looks like or sounds like, instead of just worshipping Him. Is it a bad thing to want the worship to sound good or look good? Not entirely, but let the Lord make it sound good or look good by adding His annointing and that is when things will happen for the glory of the Lord. Thanks again.

I so appreciate the thrust of "The Worship Leader" article which I received from a friend. I trust I am missing something, but it is an important switch in the article's direction---from Worship Performer, to Worship Leading. I would like to have the complete article and wonder just how much IS missing between these listings of: "visibly depressed by smaller crowds..." which would be a performer's standpoint, and then "takes 'worship as life' seriously" (which, I hope, is the passionate worship leader's charactaristic)... It would be good to have that clarified and filled in.

Nice article;

I've at times felt that I've fallen short of the "sparkling" worship leader image that I've seen so often. I think there is a place for being inspired to a new level of excellence by another worship leader, but not at the expense of authenticity, and certainly not at the expense of sacrificing our connection with the Father for a less than satisfying connection with another worship leader.

This article was a nice affirmation.
