We are considering taking the top 12 songs and put them on an original CD project that will be offered exclusively on our site. Should we choose to use your song, we will contact you and proceed from there.
We will post your music the same day and will contact you for further info if needed. Please include your name, address, and phone number with the e-mail. We look forward to having the opportunity to help get your music out there to the thousands of worshipers and leaders who visit our site daily. Imagine getting to share your music with people from all over the world.
Please Remember to embed your fonts into the PDF file.
Jerry Bartachek has a great way to turn your songs into PDF's. Follow instructions below. Thanks Jerry for the tip.
LOW COST WAY TO MAKE *.PDF FILES
Here is how to save your musical leadsheet, or ANY file for that matter, as a *.pdf file that can be displayed on a web page and read by the Adobe Acrobat Reader
1. Download the free Adobe PostScript print driver from this URL: http://www.adobe.com/products/printerdrivers/windows.html
2. Add a new printer with the PostScript driver as its identity
3. Download and install GhostScript 7.0 and Ghost Viewer 4.0. They are FREE and available at: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/doc/AFPL/get700.htm
Example of download instructions from that web page:
Windows 95, 98, NT or 2000 You will need to obtain and run the self-extracting EXE
gs700w32.exe, AFPL Ghostscript 7.00 for Win32 6119936 bytes You can unzip this if you want to check the contents.
It is recommended that you also install GSview, a graphical interface to Ghostscript. GSview 3.6 will not work with AFPL Ghostscript 7.00. You will need to use GSview 4.0.
gsv40w32.exe, GSview 4.0 for Win32 1491456 bytes
4. HOW TO DO IT: a. Open your completed song leadsheet file b. Print it to file using the PostScript print driver (name it with a *.prn suffix) c. Open GhostView (after you have it installed on your computer) d. GhostScript runs in the background, so you don't have to open it. e. Go to and open the *.prn file you created f. Go to and select g. you will see these implicit options selected: 1. Device = pdfwrite 2. Resolution = 300 3. The narrow window below device may say "Fixed Page Size", but I prefer "Variable Page Size" h. Click on and it will ask you to name the output file. Be sure the suffix is .pdf 5. That's all there is to it. You now have a pdf file to post on a web page or share with a friend by attaching it to an e-mail.
