song system
Agreed. With multiple worship leaders, we're trying to develop a system, a roster of regular songs everyone has to pull from to maintain consistency (because everyone has their own favorites). I'd be interested if anyone's found a formula that works.

Holy
First time on your site. Love to worship! I have found the simpler the better. Worship directed directly at Our God, His nature, who he is, not just what he has done for us. Just singing the Words "you Are Holy" brings you front and center to the throne of God.Thanks for you insight. Will come to this sight more often. Keep the faith , Joe

good words
i would think that any church with a steady flow of new choruses would deal with this issue at some point (if not continually). certainly i am as guilty as my musicians/leaders for quickly becoming tired of a worship song that has been done all of maybe three of four times at church. ironically enough, this is just barely enough time for the average listener/participator to learn and feel comfortable enough to worship to. i particularily appreciate your pointing out the fact that the new comers and regular attenders alike are not afforded the opportunity to read along with us. what i take from your article is that we are to be more cognizant of our "audience" and what their needs are. how easy to forget at times....
