Worship Is What We Are Made For!
We were made to worship God. This is the very first step to understanding life. If we do not grasp this fact- that we were created by God for God, for his pleasure, we cannot life our lives to the fullest.

Once we do grasp this, we need to ask, "How do we worship?" This is a multi-faceted answer:

1. Worship begins with the right attitude. The desire to place God in the center of everything we do (John 4:4).
2. Worship is demonstrated in the everyday activities- at home, at work (yes, your work is your worship!), in your neighborhood, and in your relationships (Romans 12:1).
3. Worship is only for God. Pride has no place in worship. We must not worship to gain attention or notoriety from others. It is only for God's pleasure (Matthew 4:10).
4. Worship is intimate. It is deep and passionate (Matthew 28:9).
In short, worship is "worth-ship"- Declaring to God his worthiness, in word, deed, and attitude (Hebrews 3:1-6). God is looking for true worshippers. Are you one?

Beware judging Outward Appearances
Regarding your article "What's Your Reason?": While I agree with your premise I've seen/experienced the reverse. Rating someone's sincerety or relationship with God based on the physical outward, public display of worship can result in people putting on a "show" for their peers at church. This is a temptation for many in charismatic assemplies and especially on worship teams. People are unique and should be respected for having their own personalities which includes how they worship God. It is sad to see worship leaders and other fellow Christians use something so superficial and easy to fake as worship style as a measurement of whether people are "really worshiping God". A Christian's entire life is an act of worship and I've found that it's the hidden, quiet things that most don't see that better measure a Christian's growth/maturity/sincerity. Thanks ---Laurie

What's Your Reason
When we the created are more concerned about what another created being is thinking about our praise then we have missed the whole point of worship. Created worshipping THE CREATOR is TRUE Worship. When our programs and order of service limit the moving of THE SPIRIT that's when we have grieved the heart of GOD. Is your worship about HIM or you. What you can get from HIM "Bless Me LORD" then you are pimping GOD, and you truly do not understand who you are and who HE is. Go beyond what you feel comfortable in doing during your worship time, private and corporate. Our flesh aka feelings do not want us to do that. But once you have stepprd into Freedom you will really never be satisfied in going back. "They that worship HIM must worship HIM in flesh/feelings/emotions/pleasing to someone else and lies?" JESUS said "For the Father seeks them that want to worship themselves?"
You were created to wordhip HIM and HIM alone!
I welcome your feedback and thoughts
